Scarborough Guild Arts Festival

New Acropolis continued its participation with the Scarborough Guild Arts arts festivalFestival as an active community member adding to the warm and sunny atmosphere of the weekend.

Members from New Acropolis shared Zen stories with an elevating and humorous twist. Many attendees to the festival took time to stop and appreciate these theatrical skits. arts festivalIn addition to the mini performances, literature, books of a unique and special flavour were offered at the booth. As well, the jewellery workshop in NA Toronto is one of the activities that provide an artistic practise for members. Jewel creations from members were happily displayed and bought by the public. These are but a few activities conducted by New Acropolis that help to develop an appreciation for the Arts.

The Guild Arts Festival turned out to be a joyful and fulfilling day. arts festivalAll participants and passerbys had time to converse and enjoy the festivities. All proceeds help to sustain our service in the community as a non-profit volunteer based organization.
